Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG)
The Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) is the advisory body of the South Sudan Internet Governance Forum (SS-IGF). The MAG provides strategic guidance and ensures that SS-IGF remains inclusive, transparent, and representative of all stakeholder groups.
The MAG supports the development of SS-IGF thematic priorities, programme agenda, stakeholder engagement strategy, and overall direction of the SS-IGF process.
In the current SS-IGF structure, some MAG members may also support the SS-IGF Secretariat in coordination and implementation activities.
Role of the MAG
The MAG supports SS-IGF by:
Providing strategic guidance on the SS-IGF agenda and thematic priorities
Promoting inclusivity and balanced representation across stakeholder groups
Supporting stakeholder mobilization and engagement
Advising on national digital governance priorities and emerging issues
Supporting the credibility and neutrality of the SS-IGF process
Supporting partnerships and coordination with national, regional, and global stakeholders
Validating SS-IGF outcomes and recommendations
MAG Membership Structure
